A lot of people live stupid lifestyles that take a big toll on their health. I have no control over how those people behave. Why should my hard-earned dollars be stolen from me and my offspring to subsidize the stupid, irresponsible behavior of strangers and puff-up the egos of some pretentious Leftists? Where's the morality in that? I know best what kind of charity I can afford. How dare you promote a system where that discretion is denied me. That is my right!!

For O-bots, it's not about people getting their MRIs before it's too late. It's about how O-bots feel about other people. Tell them that dogs can get their MRIs next-day while people have 6-8week waiting lists in socialist Canada, and O-bots are ok with it, because at least nobody's getting rich off people in Canada. They feel good about that. O-bots must approve of the motivations of other people. Once O-bots are in charge, results don't matter anymore. Bad results then are swept under the rug.

Think about what you said; your use of the word "had". Who would be making you help who? By what authority? Who the hell has a right to order you around and force you to give your money to somebody else? If "had" to help 100 people, it would be so that those 100 people would reelect whoever it was in power forcing me to give my money to them. That authority would lose my one vote and gain 100 votes--at my expense. That's corrupt!

Maybe you can afford that. Others can't. Why should they be denied the same discretion you want to exercise? Because you know better? Are you a wannabe dictator? Yours is a tribal mentality. What if you could help more people in other ways if you weren't forced to "help" in the way dictated to you by a corrupt higher authority? You assume only government can help people?
