You initially said, and I quote: "The Constitution says ESTABLISH". You did not say "The Constitution says RESPECTING AN ESTABLISHMENT OF RELIGION"

"Congress shall make now law respecting (PERTAINING TO OR ABOUT) an establishment of religion."
The founders made it clear that this was to protect against a STATE CHURCH. Anyone who says otherwise is either a liar or a publicly educated RETARD.

Yeah, I wouldn't say Rachel is a fascist pig, but I think she's got her wires crossed a little.
Freedom of speech applies to citizens, the valedictorian is acting as a citizen, and can say what she likes. Teachers and officials from a school are acting on behalf of a state funded institution, and therefore are bound to the rules of separation of church and state, and are not allowed to promote a religion.
I'm an atheist, but I know when my fellows in arms get it wrong.
