popularity/self-centered/high maintenance/feeling good about ourselves

I was watching an episode of tyra on youtube yesterday about popular and unpopular. It got me pissed off. Tyra pisses me off in that episode.
It's like she was taking the popular girls side. At the end she said that the popular kids become more successful then the unpopular girls in life. That really got me pissed off.

WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL ABOUT BEING POPULAR?
I don't get it. I'm not popular and I'm cool with it. I don't follow those people with their trends.

Also talking about self-centered and high maintenanced people.
Not everything revolves around you. It's not always about you. There's other people who deserve the attention to. Some people don't get the attention that they deserve. Harry Potter is I believe COCKY.

Also talking about feeling comfortable about ourselves.
Why care so much about the way you look?
You don't have to wear make-up. make-up is hiding your true beauty.
Why care so much about what other people think?
It's good to let others have an opinion. If you really want to only go with the trend then go ahead. that's what you want to do.
If you feel comfortable about yourself already then don't let anybody change it.

Ahhh all this "popular and unpopular" shit is all just typical high school mentality immature b.s. when everyone hits a certain age they grow up and see the sillyness of it. Its just childish at the end of the day whether it be the youngsters worrying about not being popular or the ones thinking because they have popularity that they have some type of superior status. Seriously to anyone who thinks like that.....JUST FUCKING GROW UP!!

@Alienzonlee All of the "unpopular" kids at my school dont even get TOUCHED. not all of them are bullied. mabey you got bullied becuase people dont LIKE you. its not cuz ur unpopular. i would rather be socially noticed then me a nobody thats VERY steriotypic about people she dont even talk to.

Think about what you JUST said. "Heres the definition of popular." what does that sound like to you? thats just making you one of them: correcting people, telling them YOUR way or what other people say is right. being popular isnt about having just friends: its about what makes you happy. wen someone that u know closley is having a fight with you you have so many other close friends to comfort you. and were all not just snotty, rude, and mean. i have SO much to say to you.
