This song has the baddest break down of any song in the history of music. I'm 34 and have been looking for this song since the last time I heard it at 10 years old. I remember living in Virginia and riding in the family van on the way to a COGIC revival where my dad would be preaching, and just zoninng out as this song was playing. I got to send this to my sister.

Eld. Kirvey Brown was and always will be my boy. I brought this album when it came out in 1986. I was a fan then, and always will be.

That's when gospel music was gospel music. It was distinctive, you knew the difference from satan's sound from God's sound. :)

OMG.....I love this older version....much better to me.....brings back so many memories......I'm glad it's posted!
Im just 18 and i even love old gospel music over the new stuff. especially being a gospell drumer I love older gospel drummers over the new ones. I feel blessed to have an uncle that played drums during this era because hearing him play is like getting to watch the past.

@sample21383 Thanks for visiting my page the best of old school, I see your an young man with an old spirit and know what is truly gospel music,my youngest son was born and the end of this era and sometimes we just down and talk to him about the music of the 70's 80's and some 90's and he tell me that he wished he was born in the era. Because it was truly a blessing to experience that at the time.It seems like a lot of the young people of this era have no clue of real music b bless
