I am self-employed, in a very unstable industry, where you often see many heart aches and sometimes ruin for those that choose to enter it due to its instability. Due to this I have always known that God has all the control over where my career is headed, and he has guided me into decisions and to people that have made me a success that can only be described by God's guiding hand. I am daily amazed at why he chooses to prosper me. Put your life into God's hands and you will be blessed!

so true, I have seen many areas of my life transform when I decided to live right with God and now I see his favor in my life and I just know its because I decided to trust God and not lean on my own ways, thoughts, and feelings. PRAISE GOD!

so how do you expect a pastor to eat? they have no time to get a 9to5 they put in a whole lot of work in study, praying with others, counseling, visiting the sick, etc...

@sanctified If you look at what Paul was talking about hes wassnt talking about pastors but evangelist as Paul was a pastor himself and he tookj up an offering to repair the church he pastored 1 Corin 16:2. Now if J/P was an evangelist who preached the true gospel in line with GOD word YES he should be paid...but he doesnt!!....Common you can do better than that!!!

it clearly states preachers should be paid money...

its funny you say J/P. "sells the gospel" have you ever listen to the ending of everyone of his tv broadcasts where he says "please do not send us your tithes"

ive watch/listened to over 40hrs of J/P's teachings/sermons and i never spent 1cent, except for to $10 i paid for his book trough barnes&noble...

perhaps your too quick to judge, and you should get off gods throne and let him sit back on it
