  • The Young fellow talking to Uncle Frank looks an awful lot like Randy Devine?

  • Good eye. That's exactly who it is.

  • I wonder if Uncle Frank is really one of the locals or an actor. The other two are obviously actors. I wonder has anyone seen the documentary which RTÉ made in Newfoundland in the 70s? The presenter speaks to some fisherman who sound even more Irish than 'Uncle Frank'.

  • There are only two actors. The others including Uncle Frank are locals. Uncle Frank is Frank Fitzgerald from Renews by way of Trepassey.

  • What is that last thing Uncle Frank says?

  • You know your history for a lad of just 20 years. We were indeed confederate holdouts all along the southern shore. primarily because the strongest anti-confederate and Joey Smallwood nemesis was Peter Cashin who came from Cape Broyle on the fabulous southern shore. Oops is my bias showing??

  • this song was written about my family (the oldfords). sweeet

  • Wow, fascinating crossover accent, definitely sounds more Irish.
