Aileen Stanley-- Wasn't It Nice

One of the most popular female vocalists of the 1920s, Aileen Stanley sold some 25 million copies of her Victrola recordings, outselling those of the immensely popular Victor artist Enrico Caruso. Aileen (pronounced A-leen, not eye-leen) was a comedienne and vaudevillian known for her pleasing, light style of singing. She often recorded duets with Billy Murray and Johnny Marvin. With Gene Austin, Aileen Stanley introduced one of the most popular tunes of the 1920s When My Sugar Walks Down The Street.

Wy cool! Where di you get all the old pics of Aileen S? I discovered her first when I was a kid with her Murray duets but love her solos as well This is a new one for me. She lived until the 1980s - do you have any later phots of her or (better yet) did she ever give an interview?
