ITA Corolla GT-S Altercation with RX-7's - '00 Cal Club SCCA Enduro

Scott Webb pilots the ITA Toyota Corolla GT-S (AE86) of co-driver Ryan Flaherty (along with Paul Goduti) at the 2000 Cal Club SCCA Enduro at Buttonwillow Raceway Park. As the clean-up driver, Webb enters the track from pit lane to tackle the final hour of the race. Unfortunately, an encounter with a gaggle of overly aggressive RX-7's derails his bid for victory. After making repairs in pit lane, the team finishes 4th in class and 16th overall (out of 59 cars).

The LF suspension was bent and there was damage to the front fender and rear quarter panel. Not too hard to fix, but the car sure didn't drive very well for the rest of the race!

ITA rules are pretty strict. You're allowed a slight over-bore and match porting up to 1" into the port, but no cams, no turbo, no higher compression pistons, etc. You are allowed a header, exhaust and intake though. HP isn't a heck of a lot more than stock.
