i also had that same problem in 2k9, so stupid, the same that the ref throws the ball in the face of the freethrow shooter.. hahaa.

@CoolAssNinjas The very same thing happens in 2k11. Sometimes the ref is a foot away and still chucks the pumpkin at the player. And, the player makes no attempt to catch the ball...
