On November 5, 2009, NC State students, faculty, staff and alumni gathered on the Brickyard to celebrate Doc Hendley ('04), who was recently named a finalist for the 2009 CNN Hero of The Year award for his work in bringing clean drinking water to those less fortunate in Peru, Cambodia, Uganda, India and the Sudan.
