A Cowboy From Hell, that was Far Beyond Driven, you were Goddamn Electric, the Medicine Man, who wrote his Message In Blood, using The Art Of Shredding, you died in a Vulgar Display Of Power, Walk to the Cemetery Gates, Rise above the Floods, you are forever Stronger Than All, and we are forever Hollow.

R.I.P "Dimebag" or "Diamond" Darrel. Don't say R.I.P-legends never die.
-
You could also use The Sleep or We'll Meet Again but this is more fitting.
-
I keep this man in my memories by rocking on....RIP Dime
-
I am Far Beyond Driven to say this: Rest In Peace Dime.
-
as long as dime lives in our hearts and in our musical talents he will live forever

@MauritzOnkelbach Dude, you're totally right about the sponsorship stuff. Just ridiculous. however, most of those became his signature stuff after he died, and Pantera seemed to be just be getting heavier and heavier. I see where you're coming from, but I still wish Pantera wouldn't have broken up
Does anyone know the story behind Cemetary Gates?

dude, i think phil broke up pantera cuz he knew maybe one day they would have done such commercial shit like metallica nowadays. dime with damageplan and all his dean guitars commercial shit was just ridiculus. it wasnt the same guy anymore that wrote cowboys from hell back in the day allso vinnie paul joined ddrums "a sister company of dean guitars" last year for profit . i think everything went right they broke up when they still where the heaviest band and dime died as a legend.
