This is the last 15 miles on Highway 41 as you enter Copper Harbor, MI from the south and easily the best road I've been on with the bike so far. The trees are so thick that you can't see the sky for much of the ride, it feels like you are riding through a tunnel.

Sorry for the low quality, the camera had a hard time focusing sometimes.

  • grew up in hancock rode this road fifty plus times on all kinds of bikes best ride 1987 xs 1100 special the front end would leave the ground with out really feeling it

  • I remember crusing up that road and there was a bear sitting right in the middle of it! Turned around to get some pix and the bear just sat there!

  • That was great! I love that drive, and that song!

  • Thanks!

That's a tough call. I guess my one suggestion would be to keep in mind that the items you mention about the C50 could be added to the M as well. An M50 with a new seat (such as Cobra or Mustang) and saddlebags might give you the best of both worlds. In either case, check out the forums at motorcycle-journal com / forum / suzuki then either the boulevard forum or the M50 hideaway. Some great info in there to help your research. I am user Mantissa in the hideaway.

  • Hey there, I loved your video.

Would you mind providing a little insight for me? I am going to buy a bike, but am torn between the 2009 M50 and the 2009 C50. I know they are virtually the same bike. I will be riding with a passenger on longer trips (we're adding a back rest). The C50 had a slightly more comfortable saddle and passenger seat and has footboards and saddle bags. However, I love the look and lines of the M50. Would you mind shedding a little light on your experiences?

  • I can see why, those roads are amazing. I definitely hope to go back next year as well.

  • Thank you for posting this. Copper Harbor is my all time fav spot to visit every year. I go every year the first week of june.

  • Make sure to wait until at least about 2:20 in, thats when the best stuff starts.
