This was my first shot at TCMYCC. Though I don't expect I am going to win EVAR, I'll keep submitting my entries annually. Its a pretty neat opportunity and I had a lot of fun with it.

You gotta try huh? Hey if nothing else it gives us something to show off right? I entered in 2006 and 2004 as well. There's alot of people doing it now, it's tough.

Yea, the market is saturated. More sadly, I find that a lot of the entries sound similar...movie music really is not very moving. Sure there are occassional flashes of brilliance, but such scores are few and far between.
Whats strange is that although the diversity of the field has never been more realized, the ideal of film music is decidedly narrow...at least in regards to the mainstream.
