@Charliekpalmer I was with you until you down played Beyonce vocal ability.She did play a role& had to hold back her vocal ability. But please research her work. She has her own range& she can hold her own! Patti, Stevie W.,the late Luther V(both she won a grammy with), Prince, Tina T, Baby Face, Bono, U2 & Ms. Barbara S herself REQUESTED Bey to perform for her at the Kenndy honors! So, I guess you are right she is not Aretha Fraklin; she is Beyonce Knowles.Anyway, love me some Jewlel and Bey:)

Why is everyone comparing them as if one of them lost and the other won? It isn't a CONTEST - it's a DUET! And I think it was a pretty darn good one. They were both fabulous in their own ways, and they both look fantastic. Beyonce is not so "amazing." (Remember, she's the one who played the "Diana Ross" role in Dream Girls, while Jennifer Hudson was the one with the REAL musical chops. The way some people are talking about Beyonce, you'd think she was Aretha Franklin.)

Now this was just uncomfortable to watch. I love Jewel and think she's amazing but next to Beyonce...dont think so. Beyonce killed it, Jewel was a tad lost :s

oh and there is a difference once more beyonce is the dancer out of the two of them her movements and flare in dance whilst singing is outstanding jewel when she sings gets into her songs full of expression and all but not so much the dancer

i will just say that this is more beyonce stile so naturally she would blow this song out of the park, jewel has a very different style but the fact that she did this with beyonce was just amazing, i liek what they bring to the song together
