VIVENDI | CONTEMPORARY NATURALISM FROM LASSIE TO POKEMON
An opera/project by Ceolin at Labsofabs 2011, which focuses on methodological/critical reading of a phenomenon that the market offers exclusively as entertainment and merchandising. The exhibition will be supplemented by docuvideos, performances of sound design and theatrical dramatisation, by conferences animated by artists and scientists, composers, designers, video artists, filmmakers, philosophers, writers, etc. An original artistic proposal capable of deepening the work by participating with the artist at the laboratory of research concerning the concept of nature in a society pervaded by virtual dimensions with original drawings which illustrate, explain, catalog media, gaming, frames. "Vivendi" are the modern icons of series production, objects whose degree of existence is directly proportional to the intensity with which to animate the individual and collective imaginary, symbolic Simulacra that populate ages pre and post-industrial with meanings and play/affective values shared in a transcultural level.
