Honestly speaking, you Chinese have no goodwill towards the Tibetan, despite calling Tibet as a part of China. If somebody is doing something constructive, be it preserving their culture or anything for that matter, you should be overjoyed and grateful that something is being done to your countrymen. But ironically it's contradictory all the while. And this speaks of how different we are physically and psychologically.

romans violated the rights of Carthaginians. Chinese does the same to the tibetan. but it was so long ago. relegating everything vice to current chinese is so irrelevant. president hu was only 5 when mao took over tibet. next president Xu hasn't even borne. dalai lama vs mao. who cares

does this means pro tibet and pro secession?

Tibetans have to define themselves. One thing is certain, they want to save their culture. As a society they have differing views on what saving Tibet means.

You all are wonderful! Over 30 years ago, when Professor Thubten Norbu taught students Tibetan Oral History at Indiana University, hardly anyone had ever heard of Tibet and the Tibetan Peoples' struggle. At the time of his retirement, he directed his students to learn everything they could about Tibet and teach it to others. Now in his 90s, Rinpoche would be overjoyed to see the work you are doing. Thank you... (are you talking about Drepung Gomang or Drepung Loseling?)

Bigcandy, thank you for the comment. Please pass us along to friends. Part of our work is with monks from Drepung Loseling.

bg24955, In 1989, current president Hu was party secretary to Tibet where he ordered a brutal crackdown and Marshall Law. This speaks volumes about President Hu's view towards the Tibetan people.
