Rubinoff in concert at the White House. This Violin solo by Rubinoff - Dance of the Russian Peasant is a feature in Lesley and Ohrenstein's Elizabeth of Russia. This play follows in the tradition of the great Broadway hits South Pacific, Showboat, and Phantom of the Opera.

  • Actually got to here him play in a gym when I was in college in 1965.

  • I had no idea I was such a great violinist!

  • My grand mother was a great friend of his..he was truly a great man. His widow lives in Ca somewhere.

  • Fortunately for me, I got to see Rubinoff in 1943 at my grammar school in Ellisville, Mississippi. I sat on the front row, and man was I impressed. He played what would be considered the Pops in violin music. Wonderful for a 6 year-old kid. I will never forget him.
