My grand mother was a great friend of his..he was truly a great man. His widow lives in Ca somewhere.

Fortunately for me, I got to see Rubinoff in 1943 at my grammar school in Ellisville, Mississippi. I sat on the front row, and man was I impressed. He played what would be considered the Pops in violin music. Wonderful for a 6 year-old kid. I will never forget him.
