The irony is that its the existance of Trident that contributes to the fact that we are all still here to argue about this. The clue is in the term Deterent. No Global conflict since 1945. These protestors have an unrealistic view of the world and much greater faith in the human race than I do, history is full of conflict and broken promises, talk talk...yes...but have a big stick behind you in case you need it.

can anyone tell me what may happen if hypothetically trident is scrapped over night? would that not just turn great britain in to a big defensless target for the likes of china or the middle east or even russia to pick on ? im sorry the cold war may well be over but we need detterents just in case.id rather have something and not need it than need something and not have it.isnt that good logic.somebody tell me and explain otherwise please

good work ...GOOD WORK !!!! these people don't work. ....OK... so no nuclear warheads and you guys will do what... ? protest about something else. 25 years its a way of life. Its an excuse for the way you live. The protesters camp is a bloody discrace. You can WORK !! and live in a proper society and still campaign for your beliefs. If you set the example for a nuclear free world then God help us. Please what exactly do you do. only like yourselves it too does not work.

Keep up the good work, somebodys got to keep an eye on the buggers or they would be dumpin nuclear waste in the middle of the road. I remember the day you arrived I think the 14th June 1982 Im not a protester but I do think you have the right to do so without being abused.

the middle class will always be middle class wether they live in caravans or in flats or in houses. carrying on with small minded in fighting and politics making out to the outside world they are diferent but they the same as religiuos groups , or any type of club for that matter . I know I lived there for 6 months
