Sorry, I think it it is the third fret G sting.

I would smoke more shards but my lighter broke last night.

the 4 finger G chord is still a G Major.

In my opinion it is the best G because it switches to D maj or Cadd9 more easily

But chords are just fingered whichever way That person thinks it as easier.

I do the 4 finger C chord too.

Which is unusual.

I also have a strange way of fingering A Maj.
