  • It was a great video. I have been dying to learn how to bake Italian bread. Thank You so much.

  • Thank you.....another tip....the bread will stay fresher longer if you bake it for a shorter period of time at a higher temperature....this way you can get at least a couple of days out of the loaves you bake....the advantage to home baking of course is that a loaf of bread is becoming more epxensive with the price of gasoline...it is fun to make your own stuff too.

  • Yum Yum... bread is one of my favorite foods!

  • Nice!

  • my grandparents are from Naples Italy, but I never had the pleasure of learning our Italian culture from them. I love baking home made bread . I have a kitchen because I can't hand kneed. I believe this is great!

  • MyRedTails you also can place a pan of hot water at the bottom of the oven for steam. It is almost impossible to get the same texture as new york arthur ave bread because of the home oven.

  • Yes,you can use a pizza stone and you can spray the oven walls with water. But you can not duplicate the bread from a new york bakery with your home oven.

  • Tony ! Question I read somewhere that to get the bread nice & crispy you can use a pizza stone & to spray the oven with water as the bread is baking & this will make it nice & crispy on the outside, & it will come out just like the Italian bread stores make back in Brooklyn, NY ?
