Two Singapore activists, Seelan Palay and Chong Kai Xiong were arrested by the police for protesting against the denial of work permits to Burmese nationals who had taken part in protests in Singapore against the military regime in Burma.

Shame on these so called police officers, they need 2 patrol cars with a bunch of them just to arrest this 2 innocent persons standing infront of the building. Funny thing why they have to handcuffed them? tot handcuffs are meant for those who are pose danger to the public, this 2 guys just stand there and they got handcuffed???? anyone knows any laws that allows these officers to use their handcuffs as and when like?

From the video, it is clear that they did not resist arrests.
And
the Two Demonstrators did not harm anyone or anything.
RIDICULOUS!

I prefer a lower profile kinda approach, sometimes being too radical or being over aggressive may ruin every good works. I have my own way of doing things, which I feel works better for me, it does not mean that it would apply for others ... so ... to each his own yup?

What is happening here is nothing new. Truth is a great offender. People don't want to hear it. That's why every Christ that rose will be crucified. The society and governmnets in the world have doing htis for hundreds of years.

singapore police & some old-timer gangster are those who have guns and haven you heard,
singapore is a FINE country .we are not under
military government.violent / senseless protest were not seen in singapore since

I'm not agree with you. Forcing them to leave from singapore is not a right way to slove the problems. If they (Government) continue to do these kind of actions, the condition will be worst in the future. You cannot force someone to do what he doesn't like. You see in burmese, even the janta used guns to slove the protests, people are still coming out on the street to face these guns. Guns or Orders can handle just for tamporary but they cannot be used for permanetly.
