I love this story. I learned about it when I was studying to become an English teacher, and now I want to use it in class with my students. Would you mind if I used the audio from this video for an activity?

That's grand -- that show is such fun! Thurber is a very witty fellow. Let us hear how it goes. Break a leg!!! ;-)

I'm playing the narrator for this scene (and two others of Thurber's) in my high school's production of "A Thurber Carnival." Nice job!

That was brilliant!

Well, thank you for I quoted you in my paper. I design a 5-step English reading exercise which includes your oral presentation as the first step. Hopefully, this paper is to be delivered on May 15, 2010 if things go smoothly.

Thank you. That sounds like quite a complement. Please let us know the outcome of your paper.

Why don't we just watch the animation? What are you bringing to the table?

You made a very worthwhile observation concerning most things which engage our time. While I can't respond to what Will "brings to the table," I can say that different performers give different performances based upon their unique interpretations and abilities. No two performances are identical or present the material in exactly the same way, and whether a performance gives the audience something to take away from the "table" is a subjective matter. Anyhow, thanks for watching. :-)
