I saw a recent interview with him and it is fairly obvious that drugs has impacted him. He's not very understandable.

A big reason that nowadays Stills can be hard to understand is because he has suffered a MARKED loss of hearing in BOTH ears..wears TWO hearing aids nowadays. He also suffers discomfort from dental implants. Both conditions can make him difficult to understand at times.

stephen is a tough guy! he's been through a lot.. mental and physical but he still stands strong.

he's like one of those uncles who's bigger and tougher than your dad but still has that wonderful heart.

This is possibly the best glimpse into the real deal as you ever will hear, no bullshit, candid honesty. Always loved Still's solo stuff the most, I admire him more than ever today. R & R is a strange life. Fame isn't all it's cracked up to be. He has always been a great artist, so glad he wasn't a monkee, we would have missed a lot of great music. Old times, Good times.

Saw him tonight with his band in NY and they rocked the house beyond belief! He hit all the high notes, and even said he surprised himself! Great variety, acoustic, jamming, rocking out. Totally awesome!

" W hen you're doin it for the audience you're the monkees or grand funk railroad " lol awesome ! Stills was on a howard Stern show and the posts on the show afterward were brutal, about Stillls inability to sing, his attitude, fuck them what he has accomplished will stand he' is great!
