RAF Eurofighter Typhoon display 2011. The RAF Typhoon has been conspicuous by its absence from the sky during the 2011 air show season. The latest information from the RAF MOD website is that there will be no RAF Eurofighter Typhoon flying display at all in 2011. See link below. This video shows one of only two static displays of a Royal Air Force Eurofighter Typhoon in 2011. This was at the RAF Waddington Air Show at the beginning of July. Incidentally, the Italian Air Force and Luftwaffe managed to provide two Eurofighter Typhoons each for static display at RAF Waddington. The other static display of an RAF Eurofighter Typhoon was at the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) at Fairford. Those who attended RIAT at Fairford were lucky enough to see a flying Eurofighter Typhoon FGR4 from BAE Systems which apparently won the "best display award" at the RIAT show.
The RAF Eurofighter Typhoon in this video is a Typhoon T1 two seat trainer in the marking of 29 Squadron Royal Air Force based at RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire.
