3rd gen eclipses are the worst/slowest eclipses ever made. They were built for the chicks unlike 1g, or 2g's. And don't be a ricer and use your o2 sensors as an excuse. The car is in closed loop when you floor it and the o2 sensors don't do shit.

And tell the guy with the bmw that he's losing power with his "Custom Intake". There's only like 2 intake kits out there that have actually been proven to give any increase in power at all over stock. It's NOT a honda.

@dadavemyster its open loop on 100% throttle... cause i use Torque Apps with Bluetooth OBD2 to read data. Bad o2 sensors hurts engine performance...

@nestormanuelpr1981 i had 2 bad o2 sensors and was running very rich. After with new o2 sensors and it beats 330xi.

u can tell it needs good tune up cause i have an 04 mitubishi eclipse spyder gts an ive beat an BMW 330xi left him way behind i also beat an 88 vette with a shift kit

@ROLLOFFBOY23 right now its good and no CEL replaced all o2 sensors, all vacuum lines and it helps alot and now it beats 330xi :)

@DOHCCordia yea really. They gained 2 cylinders and lost 50hp how the hell do you figure they run the same times? And they're girly. The 3g eclipses are as respectable as smart cars.

@tammo2011 Really they run mid to high 14's. And Eclipses can run high 14's stock. So its similar territory. ive ran an E36 328 with a good amount of dinan pieces on it and slowly walked him.... And that was with a failing slave cylinder and 130xxx miles on the clock.

@dadavemyster Really? a 99 GST pretty much ran the same times as an 00 GT. They just dont respond as well to mods due to being an NA motor.

@tammo2011 I dont know about that. I took out a 328 with a dinan tune and intake with a 2000 eclipse gt 5 spd with just an air filter and a clutch that was slipping slightly. Oh and I did it on 89 octane not the recommended 91 octane. But then again all 3 are really slow cars lol

Wtf do you expect your paying more money for a nicer car but the eclipse is a nice car for the price
