A Message from Thomas Jefferson Regarding the Economy:

I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies.
Experience demands that man is the only animal which devours his own kind, for I can apply no milder term to the general prey of the rich on the poor.
Merchants have no country. The mere spot they stand on does not constitute so strong an attachment as that from which they draw their gains.
I hope we shall crush in its birth the aristocracy of our moneyed corporations which dare already to challenge our government to a trial by strength, and bid defiance to the laws of our country.
To compel a man to furnish funds for the propagation of ideas he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.
A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government.
Never spend your money before you have earned it.
It is incumbent on every generation to pay its own debts as it goes. A principle which if acted on would save one-half the wars of the world.

  • You know what I find amazing... and bet will happen on this video:

Viewers will comment based on their beliefs, based on which side they stand (OWS vs TEA).

In fact, the first half of this video is very OWS in tone (banks are bad). But at 1:05 is switches up to a more TEA message that is very unOWS (taking money from the earners and running a debt is bad).

I'll gaurantee the OWS will ignore tha last half as much as TEA ignore the first half.

Or they'll make excusses or twist the message.

  • Jefferson would end the Fed

Never let corporations control your banks...they will do more damage to your country than foreign armies EVER could....

  • @Lukeor Well said.

  • @chinasherry1961 FE is capitalism, what you call capitalism is corporatism.

  • To understand the happenings of today we must study the past. This study begins with Rothschild. After taking control England's central bank they are quoted with saying it matters not who makes the laws as long as I control the money supply. You'll encounter Smedley Butler, Andrew Jackson, Lincoln and Russian czar Alexander, Bolshevik revolution, Garfield, Wilson, and you'll encounter Warburg, Rockefeller, eugenics, Nazi's,. Bush, De Beers, Morgan, + other well known names
