This is a historical vignette featuring a once thriving community in the central interior of British Columbia. The idea for the movie was developed by the Valemount Historic Society and executed by Valemount Community Television. This was one of seven vignettes created for local television in a project called Echoes from the Past.

    i grew up in in tete jaune. not that you must, but it would be interesting to see a video on the japanese internment camp there, more on the history of first nations and metis presence in the area or even tete jaune up until the 70s/present. anyway, thanks for the excellent video.
