  • When did this happen I was told it does not snow in ga

  • It snows in Georgia. Some winters no snow may fall, but sometimes good snows fall. This clip was in the early 1990's.

  • Well, let's just say it is a blizzard by Georgia standards! The one thing this video doesn't show so well is the winds. They were so fierce that you literally couldn't walk in it without being blown over. It took me an hour to walk two blocks in this blizzard because of the high winds, and I was a very good athlete at the time.

  • up for a snow storm.. IN GA tomorrow!

  • @MarkandPhilShow Ok Well Buffalo gets snow almost daily in the winter time, due to Lake Ontario. For Ga and Al to get almost 2 feet of snow, 60+ mph winds and thunder snow........This WAS a blizzard. Research before making assumptions.

  • @sakau2007 It was a blizzard. Conyers did not get hit near as bad as areas to the west and South west of them. I know. I lived it.

  • @cochranexyz NO it was a blizzard. Almost 2 feet of snow at my house, 60+ mph winds, Thunder and lightning. Do your research. At the height of the storm most people were asleep. I woke up around 4am to a tree falling in my back yard. There was a snow drift at my front door and several feet of snow came falling into my living room when I opened it. You could not see 1 foot in front of you, let alone 2 feet.

  • yea do a little research folks. not like was the biggest storm ever recorded or anything?

  • @cochranexyz This was in march in the early 90's and it was a blizzard the winds were so strong you would get blown away big chunks of snow would hit your face

  • @christinalan001 What the fuck yes it does snow in Georgia dip shit I have lived in Georgia all my life and this happened in march in the early 90's I was borne on this day!!!!

  • @cochranexyz - I agree - in a blizzard, you'd be lucky to see 1/2 block and the wind would be so bad, you'd be lucky to stay standing:) I do feel for Georgians, though; that had to be difficult with so little snow removal equipment there.
