I opened my gfs macbook pro and there was a factory screw shorting out the mag connector had fused to the contacts, same problem no lights working pulled the screw off the contacts and it worked fine again.

@XxLiamxXTEX apparently the plug inside the macbook gets loose, the white macbook get this issue a lot

i just got my macbook 3 months ago and my charger stop working. Its not old. its only 3 months old so just new

This happened to me after a power cut, all i did was unplug - completely take it appart - put it together - plug it all in again - Repeat. After about 4-5 times it just kicked in and worked again.
Not saying its a definite fix as it may just be broke, but its worth a shot before buying a new one!

Is there anyway to charge a macbook without a charger? Like with an iphone or something? plz help i have no charger and i dont want to buy another one.
