I Wanna Know You Season 2 ep 9

Sel: *fights back a grin, whispers* now, now, Frankie. Is there a reason why you keep trying to match make your brother and i?

Frankie: *chuckles* yes, cuz you both love each other obviously!

Sel: *playfully gasps and tickles him, speaks normally* take that back or die!

Frankie: *laughing* NEVER!!!

Sel: *looks at Jake and bats her eyes* Jakey, you know you love me?

Jake: *laughs at Sel, gets off his chair* on it *gets Frankie and shoves him on his back, spinning around in the same spot at full speed*

Frankie: *laughing even more* ok!!! i surrender! You win. I take it back!

Sel: *giggles* ok, Jakey. You can stop now!

Jake: *stops and gives Frankie back to Sel before returning to his seat*

Frankie: *has hiccups and is dizzy* that was SOOOO cool.

Sel: *giggles* i used to do that to Jake all the time. But hes learnt the trick of getting out of it *winks at Jake*

Nick: *chuckles to himself* ok, what do you all want for breakfast?

*later after school that day*

Sel: *calls to everyone in the house* Im going for a walk! Be back in a while! *walks out the door*

Nick: *appears from the living room* FRANKIE!!!

Frankie: *runs to the top of the stairs and looks down at his brother* yeah?

Nick: Sel... Forgot something. Im going after her. Keep Jake in the house, dont mess anything up and for god sake dont go in the cookie jar! *points at him warningly and steps out the house after Sel, following her a while back down the road*

Sel: *doesnt notice, listening to her iPod and stops by a gate. She clambers over it and walks into the woods ahead*

Nick: *follows her, suspiciously. Trying to make as little sound as possible*

*10 minutes later*

Sel: *arrives at a tree and climbs up a ladder attached to it*

Nick: *hiding behind a nearby tree and watches her reach the top and disappear into leaves and wood. He followed her up, carefully, worried about the ability of the wood. He got up and looked around. A small, pretty tree house stood hidden behind the leaves. It was beautiful and quite big for a man-made tree house. He took a few slow steps closer to it and peered through a small gap in the wood*

Sel: *inside, unaware she was being watched. She reached inside her jacket and pulled out a card, looking at it sadly. She sighed and wiped away a few tears from her eyes. She reached for a lighter Nick had just seen on the table, stood up and walked out the door*

Nick: *moved away and peered around the side watching her*

Sel: *opens the card, chucking the envelope back inside. She opened the card, reading through the words she has already memorised before lighting the lighter and setting the card on fire* Happy Birthday, Daddy.

Nick: *felt guilty as soon as he realised what she was doing. He turned to leave but stood on a stray twig*

Sel: *scared as soon as she heard the twig snap. She turned and spun around, seeing Nick watching her at the corner of the tree house. She dropped the lighted card almost instantly. The flames from the card caught the wood*

Nick: *his eyes widened and he shouted as soon as he saw* SEL! GET AWAY FORM THERE NOW!!!

Sel: *she stood shocked, glancing at the flames now devouring her tree house. Her eyes widened as the flames slowly grew more vigorous and headed closer towards her*

Nick: *runs over to her quickly, grabbing her arm and tugging her* MOVE!!!

Sel: *glances at him before looking back at the flames* i cant leave this place to just crumble...

Nick: *sees the flames attack the wood, moving faster and faster as they grew* SEL!!! WE NEED TO MOVE!!!

Sel: *whispering* i cant...
