When or where did David Cook act "like this was his rendition"? As the person who posted the video noted, Ryan Seacrest introduced this as Chris Cornell's arrangement right before he performed, and Cook has never claimed otherwise. If by "acted like this was his rendition" you mean he stepped up there and blew the roof off the place, then in that case yes...yes he did.
