@squidd249 I totally agree with you! It seems like you have to go to a headliner school like Garfield or Roosevelt to just be in a band. WHY! Our school has a freshman band of like 6 kids this year.

Music education has come so far since I was in school. How I wish to be young again & have the opportunity to do what these kids are doing. They are so inspiring! Gotta give credit to the school for such a great music program. It's a shame that so many schools are dropping their music & arts cirriculam. Music is such an important part of a good education, & these kids are a wonderful testimonial to that. What a great group!
