I respectfully disagree. The song is not apocalyptic that is correct. It is more about his hatred and disapproval of how the world has become so materialistic and most of it stems from places like LA. Scientifically, California will eventually break off of the US and either sink or become its own tiny island. His vulgar language is the disgust for all the things he mentions in the song. The reference to MOM is not him getting in touch with his feminine side, it's a reference to MOTHER NATURE.
