Daily battles with local bandits, drug traffickers and the Taliban. These are just a few of the challenges facing Afghanistan's soldiers who patrol the country's borders coupled. Added to that, is corruption within military ranks. Nazanine Moshiri reports on the challenges being encountered by Afghan border patrols.
As long as you have a corrupt central government backed by drug cartels and western powers, the drug problem cannot be resolved.

The Afghan military has none of my sympathy. Stopping free trade of drugs or anything else for that matter is evil. Drug trafficking is not a crime. The only people that should be in jail are these people who call themselves policemen and soldiers.
