This is a great performance but I am very sad they did not play the original overture from the original Broadway production of 1971, which was groundbreaking in that the overture contained none of the songs from the show but was truly poignant in itself. You can find it on youtube under "Follies Overture". Is this overture used in the London production? If not perhaps it should be labeled "Follies Medley"? thank you for your time.

Great orchestra, but some of the tempos seemed slightly "off" to me. Probably just SO used to Gemignani's conducting and tempi. The drums are overmiked at times, but otherwise the clarity of the orchestration is terrific!

Wish there would have been more Follies at the concert! And more Company! And some Assassins! Not to mention a nod to Pacific Overtures and of course the fantastic Passion! Maybe a quick little passing Road Show as well!
