This is a video of our 3DOF T-Hex prototype. Thanks to Kåre Halvorsen for the chassis design inspiration and support! This is the 3DOF version. We are also developing a 4DOF version! Keep watching!
is there any reason why you choose exactly SSC-32 servo controller? what would be the difference with Mini Maestro 24-channel USB servo controller besides amount of servos?
Do you guys provide the source code to all of the beautiful gaits? I am only 17 and the math that I see for walking gaits I don't get sometimes. I want to equip this thing with a beagle board xM and do some vision and gait stuff.
Any word on whether or not there will be a 4dof version of this, or is development of that limited because of the number of servos supported by the botboard2?
@BfndrGnrl There will be a 3DOF and a 4DOF version of this kit. We are not limited because we use the SSC-32 (32 channel servo controller) for these bots, just like Kåre did. ;)

@ordinary1passerby We manufacture the SSC-32, plus it's the best servo controller out there. ;)
