Andy Cohen, Ragtime and Vaudeville Master guitarist and performer, demonstrating what can be done with my guitar if only I would concentrate. The song is taken from a cartoon from 1930 featuring Bimbo. The character that would become Betty Boop. You can see the cartoon at:

  • HA HA! Lotsa fun, good job!

  • fuck ya good old tune and well done sir gotta learn this one

  • Love that song! and this performance too!! Great picking!

Piccolo Pete and Harmonica Harry are two songs that were written at the same time..

    Alliteration!

  • Chords

    please

  • Great stuff.

  • Your right they used Helen Kane's singing style.

although Helen did not do the singing for the Betty Boop Cartoon's, instead they used imitators, like Margie Hines for example or Ann Rothschild ;). its great to see someone able to play the actual song on a guitar, i remember when someone played barnacle bill on a guitar before.

  • WOW! That's fun! Thanks "coachdoc" for refering me to this.
