Ascii Art Animation

Here is an animation i have made using the art form Ascii. I took a series of continuous shot photographs of my Jack Russell Lilly playing in the grass, i then carefully converted each individual photograph into text and imported them into my editing software to play as an animation. This is the finished effect, hope you enjoy :-D

what program did you use?

i used some software called the photediting suite to help me change the photos in to text. my video editing package is called CyberLink PowerDirector, but you could use Windows Movie Maker which is just as good. thank you for your question =)

so you didn't do the ascii yourself but a program converted it

yes that's correct. it is too time consuming to do by hand. i have done still cartoons by hand though.
