The two aardvarks in the Zoo's Small Mammal House behave differently while waiting for the keeper. She takes a rest and waits patiently, sniffing the air occasionally to keep a nose on what the keeper is doing.

But he paces back and forth impatiently.

  • Do people have to be quiet is that why its so quiet?

  • @Frogosim I WISH people had to be quiet in zoos, but, no, no one ever asks visitors to be quiet in the Zoo. This just happened to be a time when I was the only visitor in the area (or possibly there were only a few other people, and they were being quiet and respectful of the animals like I always try to be, too.)
