Could this be? I do believe Bob Gibson had listened to your wonderful Christmas Greetings composition and had enjoyed it so much that he had snatched the melody up right away. I do hope he had asked permission first. If it were the other way around,I feel confident that your use of the melody was a tip of the hat as a tribute to Mr. Gibson as you incorporated it into this extraordinary process we call folk music.
