In 2005, my book "It Stops with Me: Memoir of A Cannuck Girl" was banned at the Woonsocket Harris Public Library. There was no press coverage in Woonsocket or Rhode Island even after the ALA and RI ACLU protested the book ban and the book was returned to circulation.
