  • Would love to see their original 1970s show on DVD. CBC owns the copyright, so any Irish Rovers fans here should either start or sign an online petition & forward it to the CBC. Maybe that way, we could at least get 1 or 2 seasons available. Would be great to see those wonderful old shows again, and these guys in their prime.

  • Wow! Two great songs for the price of one. Where did you find these videos? Thank you for posting them.

  • I love this song!

  • @T2DU1989 The second song is called "Down In The Devil's Den"

  • What is the name of the second song?

  • I went to the Irish rovers last night and got my eight track tape sined and it caused a big long speech about 1974 and so on ya I'm 13 and i lovethere music

  • Maybe Will would have made a good muppet,

  • Maybe it's just me being wierd but the dude playing the banjo in first song and singing the second seem like he should be a muppet. The second song even seems like it should be muppets singing, maybe it's just the 70's vibe.

  • I've always thought this was a Mike Cross song, this is great! I love discovering origins. The joke is great too.

  • Having seen 2 of their live shows and meetings the Irish rover's is a memory,I will remember always and forever..I have the 25th anniversary show on VHS and with my wife and son beside me,we all watch and sing together..love the Irish Rover's

  • In the fall, roast chicken, duck, goose, pork, beef didn't matter what creature.... Mom had the mashed potatoes, gravy, creamed corn or boiled carrotts, baking powder biscuits with real butter an honey and Dad's baked beans and bacon! us kids on the floor in the living room and the folks at the coffee table for the Irish Rovers Show, great times....

  • Thank you so much for this! I saw them in concert back in 1987 in Newfoundland; it was the most fun I had at a concert EVER! :) I remember those shows on CBC too; I watched them with my Mom and Dad (both of whom have since passed) every weekend. You've brought back some good memories. Thank you again!
