rock music needs more string instruments. i've always thought they are just more brutal, heavy screaming. electric guitars are pretty dead things you have to add lots of distortion for any dynamics, violins can just scream away on their own.

Why oh why don't they use Tom-Tom's any longer. What a totally dynamic sound came forth for us. We need the feelings, the volume, the vocals, the hits on guitar & of course the Tom-Tom drums, we need it all for an incredible performance. Please Give It To Us!!! We need it!

What a beautiful band. I remember when the LP first came out & we used to put 2 speakers on either side of our head so we could listen in stereo. It was fantastic! Thank You Velvet Underground.
