Why is it that nobody seems to realize that live drums and sequenced drums are, you know, not the same instrument? Most of the versus arguments about this are obnoxiously shortsighted.

@medicwine holy cow, comment from a year ago. i think you noticed the "???" i see how you specified "walking" as moving one place to another, but i used it in a general sense. "Computer killed the drummer" refers to people would rather use computer to program drum sequence than to physically play the drum. My respond "car killed the walker" refers to people would rather use a car to move from A to B than to physically move. But I see your point.

@DViAan Thats not an accurate analogy. Saying video killed the radio star, and computer killed the drummer applies because once we've acquired the technology for video, or digital drums, one would logically never return to the previous item. Car killing the walker is illogical as there will always be a need for walking.
