The closest thing I have to relate this to is when people come saying they are a "witch" or "wizard" because they saw it in Harry Potter or Charmed or whatever else and they figured it was "available" and that they had a right to do what they wanted to. It hurts, insults, and angers me deeply so I can only imagine the insult brought upon an entire tribe and even culture entirely.

I am not native at all and even I am disgusted at this women. I am a witch and even in my community there are more and more young and old alike who are throwing themselves to new age bs and grabbing onto anything that may, just may look somewhat authentic. Everything sacred seems to be looked at today with an attitude of "lets all be nice and as long as no one is hurt we can do what we want".
