very cool. I have one he's about five months right now. i will continue to feed him live as well, he's not quick to eat, so i definitely am not quick to feed him frozen mice. i agree you just need to keep an eye on it. but do you worry about him getting aggressive in his cage while feeding? i always move Ryker

@keithmfewell are you kiding?!?!?!?! PETCO!?!?!?! those guys are all fucking retards! they know jack shit about snakes as it is. i was there to get crickets and their ball pythons all had mites and their red tails were dehydrated. the manager didn't even care. asking petco about snakes is like asking me about brain surgery.

at this time he was a very picky eater for some reason and this is all he ate ...he now eats jumbo dead rats ....i mean its almost the same just that i kill em lol

i went back to feeding him large rats the mice werent filling him up and i also did go back to a feeding container as well. he is eating a lot now and getting a lot stronger

i just get it at the local reptile shop it is real moss it usually last a few months before i got to replace it.

well to tell you the truth i do worry but i watch it closely it hasnt happened yet so i continue to feed it live prey...he is about 3 years old or so.
