Clinton War 2008 Heavy fighters Rapiers Belly dancers Castle Siege

Finally got my footage of this years Clinton War completed. This is my last year selling weapons at events, now I can get some great footage at them instead. 1000 poeple every year go to Clinton BC Canada, to join in the Clinton War. The SCA or Society of Creative Anachronism tries to emulate life between 600 and 1650 AD, in the way they lived, worked and played as well. The War battles are made safe with good functional armour and padded weapons.

Heilsa- I remember your forge! Are you still making weaponry, or quitting entirely? Nice footage. You managed better shots of the tavern than we generally do, it's always soo dark compared to the desert outside. I have a vid of belly dancers this year, but frankly it's hard to hold a camera steady and quaff at the same time;-)

Thanks, there were some great shots in the tavern. I wanted to make it up this year, but wasn't able. I'm not going to sell at all anymore, like to be able to come up and enjoy the weekend. Yes, belly dancers need a nice steady hand... to catch them on film lol Thanks for watching
