Is it just me or have the XX got a bit too much hype when they don't really deserve most of it, they are ok but it's just really simple music it's not as complex as Wild Beasts come on and it's not spiritual like Wild Beasts either.

That is probably one of the most stupid comments on here. The xx are a great band (whether you like them or not is a personal view), however, the reason why they are so good is because of the simplicity of their music. It is completely retarded to think that because an artist is not producing 'complex' music then it is not as good as another who is supposedly producing more 'complicated music' than them. Music is not judged on how 'complex' is it but how good it is to listen to , complex or not
