Actually real science is observation an then faithfully recording what you observe...

For instance, if you are a clinician treating large numbers of flu patients with Tamiflu, an you observe it doesn't help them , even when administered as directed, an you then notice you have suicides among the teens in that group. an you then report those findings.. that's true science...
