  • Question on the thumb - did you knit into the back all the way from marker to marker, or just on the increased stitches

  • @Kann18ify The ribbing on the mitten is a twisted rib, which does mean that it was done knit 2 through the back loop, purl two, all the way around. After the ribbing, you will knit through the front of your stitch as you normally would to do straight stockinette for the main hand part of the mitten.

  • Question on the thumb - did you knit in the back all the way from marker to marker, or only on the increased stitch. Thanks!

  • @Kann18ify The ribbing uses a twisted stitch, but the body of the mitten is knit in regular stockinette stitch. But be sure to work your increase stitch through the back in order to avoid gaps and holes.

  • Where are the written instructions for these mittens?

  • @suem1750 Hello! Unfortunately, these mittens were made for the video classes only so there is no written pattern. The videos are meant to give you an overview of technique and construction, so you can follow along and make adjustments for you. Good luck, and happy knitting :)

  • Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'm working on a pr. of fingerless gloves for my granddaughter (1 1/2 yrs old) and I've never made a gussett before until I found your suggestions on Youtube. Did I say thank you :)

  • I'm making my first mittens for my toddler. Your online class has helped me a lot already! Thank you, Mrs. Kelley! =)

  • @Kristonia69 I believe that Kelley used 40 sts with worsted weight yarn for the mittens.

  • How many stitches did you co with?
